1.1. Marusiak and Partners ("we" or "us"), as the owner of personal data, respects your right to privacy and takes the concern of working with your personal data very seriously. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out ways and methods for how we process and protect the personal data that we collect when you use our website.

1.2 By providing your consent on our website for the processing of your personal data, you agree to our collection, use, and other processing of your personal data in accordance with the Policy.

1.3 We comply with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Personal Data" No. 2297-VI dated June 1, 2010, and other legal acts of Ukrainian legislation regulating the protection of personal data, and we also implement best practices to ensure the security of the data you share with us.

What personal data do we collect?

2.1 By filling out forms on our website, applying for jobs or internships, or otherwise using our website, as well as communicating via email or other means of communication with us, we may collect and process the following personal data that you share with us:

  • your name, surname, and patronymic;
  • E-mail address;
  • phone number;
  • current place of work (if any).
For what purpose do we collect personal data

3.1 We collect and process your personal data to provide you with all necessary information and relevant services (such as webinars, events, etc.) and to improve your experience of interacting with us, including:

  • providing you with our services available on the website;
  • processing of analytical, statistical, and marketing data;
  • ensuring comfortable navigation for you on the website;
  • informing you about current news from us;
  • and keeping records of your interaction with us.
Basis for processing personal data

4.1 The basis for the collection and processing of your personal data is your voluntary and unambiguous consent to the processing of your personal data.

4.2 When using our website, you will be asked to consent to the processing of your personal data before we start collecting or otherwise processing your personal data.

Where and how long we store your personal data

5.1 We store and process your personal data in Ukraine for a period no longer than is necessary to process your personal data as specified in clause 3.1 of the Policy, but in any case no longer than 3 (three) years from the moment of your last contact with us.

5.2 After the end of the period specified in clause 5.1 of the Policy, we will delete your data. We may store your personal data for the purposes of internal analytics and statistics in an anonymized form.

5.3 We may transfer your data to a personal data controller if we choose to engage one. Before transferring your personal data, we will update the Policy accordingly or otherwise notify you of our decision. 5.4 We do not disclose your personal data to third parties unless otherwise provided by Ukrainian legislation.

Security

6.1 We use our best efforts to ensure the security and protection of your personal data.

6.2 Only a limited number of employees have access to your personal data. Such employees sign a non-disclosure agreement and receive training on how to handle personal data.

6.3 We are not responsible for the content and operation of third-party websites to which our website may contain links.

Your rights

7.1 You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • know about the sources of collection, the location of your personal data, the purpose of their processing, and the location of the owner and manager;
  • receive information about the conditions for providing access to personal data, in particular, information about third parties to whom your personal data is transferred;
  • to access your personal data;
  • to receive within 30 (thirty) calendar days an answer about whether your personal data is being processed, as well as to receive the content of such personal data;
  • to object to the processing of your personal data; to request the modification or destruction of your personal data;
  • enter a reservation regarding the limitation of the right to process your personal data when giving consent;
  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data; know the mechanism of automatic processing of personal data;
  • to protect your personal data from illegal processing and accidental loss, destruction, damage, failure to provide or untimely provision, as well as to protect against providing information that is unreliable or disgraces your honor, dignity, and business reputation;
  • file complaints about the processing of your personal data to the Verkhovna Rada's Commissioner for Human Rights or to the court;
  • apply legal remedies in case of violation of the legislation on the protection of personal data;
  • to protect against a decision based solely on the automatic processing of your personal data which has legal consequences for you.

All changes to the Policy will be posted on this webpage. Please review the Policy regularly to be informed of any changes we may make. We will notify you or seek your consent if the implemented changes require it.
